The British Allied Trades Federation (BATF) is an industry body with a long history of promoting the importance of its industry members to the UK economy, including the provision of a skilled and professional workforce. Gaining Ofqual approval as an end point assessment (EPA) organisation was the next natural step in that process.
By forming an EPA organisation, we will help to ensure that the industry itself plays a key role in ensuring that high standards of industry training and development are implemented and maintained. We will draw on our extensive networks of industry members and associates as end point assessors, ensuring that employers have faith in the individuals making decisions regarding the standards reached by their apprentices.
