Latest Migration Advisory Committee report

 The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) report on a points-based immigration system, and salary thresholds, has been published.

The government is currently considering the report’s recommendations before setting out further details on the UK’s future immigration system.

There will be no change to the rights and status of EU citizens currently living in the UK until 30 June 2021. EU citizens and their families can continue to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to in order to remain living in the UK.
